I'm looking for sheet music for the recorder, but can't find any. However, the song is available for the clarinet. Would the clarinet's sheets work with the recorder?Can the recorder and clarinet use the same sheet music?
The clarinet is a Bb (b flat) instrument, so when you play something in the key of C, it actually sounds in Bb. Most of the recorder family (with the exception of the tenor recorder) are 'in concert' ie. they read music in C and it sounds in C.
If you're playing solo then I suppose it doesn't matter.
