Are the notes on the music sheets of clarinet and alto sax very similar?

i just need to know because they are a very similar instrument ,woodwinds ,etc. Are the notes on the music sheets of clarinet and alto sax very similar?
Yes.

They are only different in the key they play in.

This comparison the the same as the Tenor and Alto comparison. Are the notes on the music sheets of clarinet and alto sax very similar?
Hahaha! Okay sorry, no offense to the question. If your converting one to the other, no, alto sax, plays higher than a b-flat clarinet, which is the standard for schools and whatnot. They could have very similar notes if they are playing harmony together, but it's unlikely. Are you saying that they are very similar instruments because they are both woodwinds? Because that's untrue. A bassoon is a woodwind, and it's nothing like the flute, which is also a woodwind, except you blow in them to make sound. But you do that for every instrument except precussion, in a band. Saxaphones have the curved mouthpiece which the clarinet doesn't. The stance, and the way the instrument is held, is nothing like a clarinet. But no, the alto sax is higher, normally, with the exception when they're playing low, than a clarinet playing.
Alto sax is in Eb, clarinet is in Bb, so the notation would not be identical. They are both written in treble clef.
